I am in love with my new coat from Mango, not only is it affordable at £69.99 but it feels gorgeous. I am wearing a medium that fits quite big which is good so I can wear chunky knits with ease.
I noticed instantly that the coat updated my wardrobe considerably. I can still wear summer items teamed with the coat, like today with my plain white tee from Topshop.
Autumn you are alright.
In the occasion where I only have 5 minutes to get ready, I always go for comfort and 99.5% of the time I’m not happy with what I have chosen to wear. This picture is a perfect example, I have my slouchy Uniqglo shirt, my brogues from Asos, and my skinny jeggings from Gap.
I would likely wear this to get a pint of milk, not to go to work in. I love dressing up for things rather than dressing down. The idea of saving your best clothes for special occasions is nonsense. You look good, you feel good. I think I need to be a bit more organised in the morning and leave the comfort look for the milk run.
I bought this gorgeous knitwear from H&M for £39.99, not a high price to pay for warm and comfort. The only thing it does is shed hairs but I can live with that.

Actually I do care, I get it coloured once a year because sitting in the chair for 5 hours, yes 5 whole long hours puts me off. I love the results but it takes me a year to get over the trauma of being glued to a seat for that long.
I leave it to grow and grow and one day you decide enough is enough it is time to tame the mane. I may go out of my comfort zone this time and try something new. Maybe a two tone look, leaving the top black and having blond ends.
I bought some velvet joggers from H&M. I initially bought them to lounge in but after trying them on, they are super soft and lovely not to wear out, I just need to dress the top and the shoes so it doesn’t get swallowed up in the land of lounge.
I wore mine with my open shoulder top from Gap and smart ankle boots.
Well done me.
When you find some fake specs to make you look intelligent and you grab them immediately .
These are £12 from Urban Outfitters, not much to look like a genius.
Stop! Look at these. I’m so in love with my ankle boots from Office, not only are they lush but they are so comfortable which is a rarity for me.
I have to check the weather so I don’t wear them in the rain, otherwise it will be ruined. It’s made of calf hair and feels and looks luxurious. I must look after these.
I recently bought a camera, the Sony cyber shot. My iPhone camera has let me down and as with everyone in the world it’s the most used and valued. I am devastated and it’s rather annoying as everything has become a photo or video opportunity, I’m not entirely sure what we used to do before the camera was on our phones, but I couldn’t take it anymore so thought a camera would be much cheaper than purchasing the iPhone 8.
The picture above is me trying the 10 second timer on the camera, I’m pleasantly surprised seen as I was alone and managed to take this, the lighting could be better but for a first attempt it’s not a bad effort.
My dress is from urban outfitters and so are the fake spectacles.
The Sony cyber shot was £89.99 from argos

When your coffee cup matches your outfit, hail to the all black.
Halloween is approaching after all…
I love my baby pink and red accessories. I recently bought the gorgeous Lulu Guinness cardholder and umbrella to fit nicely in my bag. The gorgeous Pom Pom earrings are from Zara which adds a little punch to an all black outfit. The book; The Curated Closet, I’m currently reading on and off but if you need help in organising your wardrobe and tips on finding your style and sensible purchasing it’s really good. Nail polish; the red one is by Chanel and the pink one from cheeky. I have the Clarins eye reviver to perk the eyes, and the H&M hand cream in a lush pink tube.
It's a Mango and Topshop ting – I love my new #darling tee from Mango via Asos brings a bit of pow to your outfit. Heart shaped sunglasses from a boutique in shoreditch which surprisingly has some cool shades for a tenner a pop, but I can't remember what's it's called, I'll find out and update.
Bra Top from Topshop; Jamie jeans from Topshop; #darling T-shirt by Mango; Platform sandals by Mango
Like how I am supposed to get my head round the fact that summer could be over? was that it? I did not want to get out of bed this morning, the weather can’t make its mind up whether it wants to rain or not. I’m already considering getting my hot water bottle out no lie. Here is my take on comfort and unwinding for bed, the face mask I’ve used once already and it is devine, I would highly recommend.
Nap T-shirt from Gap; Shorts by Topshop; How to be Parisian; Cup o coffee face mask by Lush
You are either a bag girl or a shoe girl and I’m most certainly the latter. I purchased 3 pairs this week and have zero regrets. This pair was one of them, pointed mules on sale at office.
Pointed mules £20 by Office; Backpack by Topshop £22
I promise you I’m not an ambassador for Topshop I just love their stuff…
Vienna ruffle slingbacks in red by Topshop-£29
You know me, I’m obsessed with a still life!

For me the most exciting time of year is spring. My winter wardrobe is dismal, I might be subconsciously sabotaging it as I hate jumpers, cardies, coats, scarves, tights, everything associated to keeping myself warm. The bulkiness, the claustrophobia of piling on layers and layers and still being bloody cold annoys me. Warm weather and I come alive, I feel my styling goes up a notch which is a bonus.
With Spring approaching, I sometimes get into a panic, I check the weather it’s 14 degrees does it mean a jacket will do, should I still wear my wooly jumper, is it time to ditch the thermal heat tech from Uniqglo ? The answer is I don’t know, hence the panic.
One look I particularly like is the skirt/dress jumper combo. Fits perfectly for spinter ( winter /spring ) you can pop on some tights and a jacket which are easily removal if it gets too warm. Alexa Chung has this down perfectly.
I won’t fret, spring will actually be here soon properly and I can drop the bulk and love my wardrobe again.
Zara hates me, it’s true. She has targeted me from thousands of people and I just can’t let the relationship continue. I’m talking about the store, not an actual person. After a couple of purchases all sporadic and varied from shirts to jumpers to jackets I noticed a pattern.
The reason for the end of our relationship is after numerous purchases they just weren’t to the highest quality I would expect, the most annoying part being finding a problem just shortly after bringing the item home. If this did happen I would obviously return the item but I really really prefered not to. This is after careful consideration, imagine finding the perfect jacket that fits you like a glove, after a week it had a great big hole that had appeared.
My last purchase was at Christmas, I despise winter which means along with it I despise cardigans and jumpers but on this particular day, I was meeting someone at Regents Street and was 15 mins early and with a limited amount of warm clothing I popped into Zara and found a lovely charcoal jumper. I wore it ONCE and to my dismay bobbling hell decended on it, it looked like I had it for a hundred years.
I emailed Zara with a Ra Ra Ra message of disatisfaction. ‘Bring it back into any store for a full refund or exchange’ they said. No, i thought and i didn’t, because I am done with you Zara, you win, I love you and you hate me! I am fully aware this is just bad luck as Zara is everyone’s favourite high street store. I just can’t cope with the consistent annoying inevitability of a new exciting purchase ending up back where it came from.
I’ll probably change my mind, but for now, it’s off my radar. Sorry Zara.
The bobble jumper is my bedtime jumper so not a soul can see the bobbleness shame.
The end, cry*

Yesterday I was rocking my Tamara Fogle bag, my husband kindly bought this for me as a surprise gift. I stayed at my mothers the night before as my husband and I went to see Robbie Williams at the Roundhouse. She was looking after the little one. I thought the smaller the bag the better as I carried a large rucksack for our overnight things. It holds a purse, phone ( iPhone 6 Plus ) keys and some Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream, a perfect size to travel light. It’s currently sold out but there are other bags to choose from her online shop. All made in England, in a family run factory I know this bag will have been made with great care and attention.
Check out her stuff here; http://www.tamarafogle.com
