Collab, no fab

The highly anticipated collaboration between Erdem and H&M landed on Thursday 2nd. Look back to the night before the launch when I didn’t get a chance to go to a preview to purchase 2 pieces I have had my eye on for ages but no bother I’ll go online first thing only to realise the launch starts at 9 am which is an absolute let down. I underestimated the popularity of this collaboration and had to find out the hard way.

I work part time and Thursdays is a working day, first I have to drop off my son to my mum and then catch a bus to work, in my head it’s all sorted I’ll jump online around half 9 when I’m on the bus and I should get my bag and white frilly shirt. I drop my son off and started searching online at the bus stop only to find it’s sold out – oh my gosh, I was devastated, I honestly thought it wouldn’t be sold out that quick but it was, I managed to get the bag shown in the picture here but not the shirt. By the time I got to work for 10, everything was almost gone. In hindsight I would have gone online before I got on the tube, and purchased the items.

I noticed people were selling items on e-bay literally by 10am or even earlier, double or even triple the original price but you can’t stop people doing this. I stopped off at Westfield on the way home just by chance if it was there but it wasn’t so I’ll have to get an alternative. Ah I’m over it (not)

Below is a teaser film on what to expect, directed by Baz Luhrmann who was excited to capture a story to reveal the unique collection.
