In the occasion where I only have 5 minutes to get ready, I always go for comfort and 99.5% of the time I’m not happy with what I have chosen to wear. This picture is a perfect example, I have my slouchy Uniqglo shirt, my brogues from Asos, and my skinny jeggings from Gap.
I would likely wear this to get a pint of milk, not to go to work in. I love dressing up for things rather than dressing down. The idea of saving your best clothes for special occasions is nonsense. You look good, you feel good. I think I need to be a bit more organised in the morning and leave the comfort look for the milk run.
It's a Mango and Topshop ting – I love my new #darling tee from Mango via Asos brings a bit of pow to your outfit. Heart shaped sunglasses from a boutique in shoreditch which surprisingly has some cool shades for a tenner a pop, but I can't remember what's it's called, I'll find out and update.
Bra Top from Topshop; Jamie jeans from Topshop; #darling T-shirt by Mango; Platform sandals by Mango
My two tone purse has just arrived from ASOS, Half black leather, half teal suede at the great price of only £8. It’s a good size for either your loose change/bank card, or for your minimal make-up needs. Cute!
I highly recommend getting yourself a backpack this summer. I am hooked on my navy blue longchamp pictured above. Not only is it practical but it’s so chic. I searched for the most appealing backpacks on the high street to give you some inspiration. Living in East London you hardly see anyone without one. It adds a touch of class to your outfit and you forget you have it on your back. The days of lugging a shoulder bag is over, well just for a couple of months anyway.
