Simone Rocha with H&M

“To be honest, it was really emotional going through all the pieces — it was a wonderful chance to reflect on seasons I was especially proud of, and to revisit collections that felt like milestones, and little gems of ideas that we maybe didn’t push as far as we wanted to the first-time round. The archive is so important to the way I work as a designer anyway. We are not a brand that abandons ideas each season — we often look back on past propositions or continue to evolve a silhouette, or shape,” says Rocha.

H&M have dropped their latest designer collaboration and I’m beyond excited that it is one of my favourite designers Simone Rocha.

The London based Dubliner is bringing her poetic, romantic pieces to us through womenswear, menswear and kids marking the first time she offers for the whole family. We can expect the usual statement delicate dresses, tartan, beaded shirts, trench coats, and accessories including her signature pearls.

I have always admired her and enjoyed the majestic feminine creations she bestows on us. Daughter of designer John Rocha, she has stores on both sides of the Atlantic and countless awards under her belt.

The collection arrives on 11 March, save the date. You will look amazing walking around the milk aisle at Waitrose, believe me.
