Well if there is anything easier than making shortbread give me a shout. It’s just 3 ingredients – butter, sugar and flour. The results however are so good. I went beyond and dipped in white chocolate and crushed over pistachios but you can leave it plain, or dip milk chocolate and hazelnuts, the combos are endless.
I used a large star cutter which made 6 but you can use a smaller cutter to make a proper batch. I made it the night before and placed it in the fridge but remember to leave it at room temperature before rolling as it will get crumbly.
Recipe; 55g sugar 100g unsalted butter, 150g plain flour.
