Arrgh does anyone else have the odd silly purchase and kick themselves or is it just me?
I bought these Mango platform sandals a size up, there is a method to this madness, I tried the size 5 in the shop and it looked amazing, but I thought they were a little tight. I went home and looked at them online because I couldn’t stop thinking about them. I decided to get the 6 – what could go wrong? they have a buckle so I can tighten them up. They arrived, hurray they fit well and look fantastic, I walk around my flat in them for a bit – I am happy. I am winning!
So a few days have passed and I have decided today is the day and I will venture out in them. I walk for about 10 mins and DISASTER! my toes keep popping under the top strap meaning my toe is sticking out underneath and it bloody hurts. Hit me with a feather – I have to wear these all day. I get home, they are scuffed from a days walking which means I CAN’T RETURN THEM LOOKING LIKE THIS! they go back in the box, I don’t think I have worn them out again – BUGGER THAT. So ladies and Gentlemen there is exhibit A for a perfect example of a silly purchase.
